Anti-Aging
Anti-Aging — skincare guide
Anti-aging care works best as a steady routine: daily sunscreen to prevent new damage, an evening active such as retinol or peptides to soften the look of fine lines, and good hydration to keep skin looking plump and firm. Results build over months, not days.
Signs and needs
Fine lines around the eyes and mouth, skin that looks less firm and bouncy, a duller tone and slower recovery after a short night. Mature skin needs consistent hydration, barrier support, sun protection and one or two well-chosen actives.
Key ingredients
Retinol and its gentler plant alternative, bakuchiol, help smooth the look of lines and refine texture. Peptides and collagen help skin look firmer and plumper. PDRN and NAD+ help skin look rested and more resilient. You will find them in Celimax retinol, VT PDRN, Medicube PDRN Pink, Numbuzin No.9 NAD and Medi-Peel Peptide-Tox products. The shop has a separate page for each of these ingredients.
A simple routine
In the morning, use a gentle cleanser and a hydrating toner, then an antioxidant or peptide serum and a firming cream. Daily sunscreen SPF 50 is the single most important anti-aging step. In the evening, after cleansing, apply retinol two or three times a week at first and a peptide or PDRN serum on the other nights, then a nourishing cream.
What to avoid
Do not start with nightly retinol or combine it with exfoliating acids on the same evening. Skip harsh scrubs, and never skip sunscreen, especially when using retinol.
Frequently asked
At what age should I start anti-aging care?
Daily sunscreen and good hydration make sense at any age. Most people add peptides or a gentle retinol between 25 and 30, when the first fine lines appear.
Which face cream helps with wrinkles?
A cream with peptides, PDRN, collagen or retinol. A cream will not erase deep wrinkles, but with regular use fine lines look softer and skin looks smoother.
Can I use retinol during pregnancy?
Ask your doctor first. Many people pause retinol during pregnancy and breastfeeding and use peptides, PDRN or hyaluronic acid instead.
Do I need a separate eye cream for wrinkles around the eyes?
It helps. The skin around the eyes is thinner, and eye creams use gentler concentrations. Numbuzin No.9 eye cream and eye patches are made for this area.
