Pads — how to choose

Toner pads are soft cotton or gel rounds soaked in toner or essence, so the toner step takes one swipe instead of a splash in your palms. They suit busy mornings, travel and anyone who wants calming, brightening or gently exfoliating care without extra bottles. Baseshop sells original Korean toner pads from Anua, Medicube, Biodance, SKIN1004 and Celimax in Yerevan, with delivery across Armenia.

Choosing toner pads

For redness and sensitivity — centella or azelaic acid pads, such as SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Quick Calming Pad, Medicube Super Cica Pad or Anua Azelaic 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Pad. They help calm the look of redness without a strong peel.

For pores and congestion — exfoliating pads with AHA, BHA or PHA, such as Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 or Celimax Pore + Dark Spot Brightening Pad. These are an active step: start twice a week and wear sunscreen every morning.

For dullness and uneven tone — niacinamide pads, such as Anua Niacinamide 5 TXA Brightening Pad or Biodance Vita Niacinamide Gel Toner Pads. With regular use they help even out the look of tone and post-blemish marks over several weeks.

For dryness and a tired look — hydrating gel pads with collagen, ceramides or PDRN: Biodance Collagen and Cera-Nol Gel Toner Pads, or Anua PDRN 100 Hyaluronic Acid Glow Pad. These are gentle enough for every day.

Frequently asked

What are toner pads, and what are they for?

Pads are cotton or gel rounds pre-soaked in toner or essence, so one pad replaces pouring toner into your hands. Depending on the formula, they hydrate and soothe (PDRN, collagen or centella pads) or gently exfoliate and brighten (pads with AHA, BHA, PHA, azelaic acid or niacinamide).

How do I use toner pads?

After cleansing, wipe one pad over the face, avoiding the eyes; if it has a textured side, use that side for gentle exfoliation. Don't rinse — follow with serum and cream. For a quick mask, leave two hydrating pads on your cheeks for 5–10 minutes.

Can I use pads every day?

Hydrating and soothing pads, yes. Start exfoliating pads with AHA, BHA or PHA, such as Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0, at twice a week, and use them more often only if your skin stays comfortable. Stop if you notice stinging, redness or flaking, and wear sunscreen daily while using acid pads.

Toner pads or regular toner: which is better?

Neither works better by default; the difference is convenience. Pads are quicker, less messy, easy to travel with and double as mini masks, while a liquid toner lets you control the amount and layer it. Choose pads if speed matters most to you.
