Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is a jar of 70 dual-textured toner pads that exfoliate with two acid types: lactic acid (an AHA) on the surface and salicylic acid (a BHA) that works inside pores. They help smooth rough texture, clear excess oil and make pores look less visible, while panthenol and allantoin keep skin comfortable. Who it suits

Oily and combination skin with visible pores, blackheads, shine or rough texture; Medicube also lists dry skin. The essence contains alcohol and citrus and lavender oils, so sensitive or easily irritated skin should test the pads on a small area first.

How to use

1. After cleansing, swipe the embossed side of one pad over the face from the center outward, avoiding the eyes and lips.
2. Turn the pad over and swipe the smooth side across the face once more.
3. Pat the remaining essence in, then follow with serum and cream.
4. Medicube says the pads are gentle enough for daily use; if you are new to acids, start with every other evening. Use sunscreen every morning.

Does Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 contain PHA?
No. The 2.0 formula exfoliates with lactic acid (AHA) and with salicylic acid and betaine salicylate (BHA). It contains no PHA such as gluconolactone.

Can I use the pads with retinol or other acids?
At first, use them on different evenings rather than layering them with retinol or another exfoliant. Once your skin is used to both, follow what it tolerates and finish with a soothing cream.
