Tranexamic Acid
Tranexamic Acid — in skincare
Tranexamic acid (TXA) is a brightening ingredient, a synthetic relative of the amino acid lysine. In skincare it helps fade the look of dark spots, post-blemish marks and uneven tone. Korean brands usually pair it with niacinamide.
What it does for skin
With regular use, TXA helps skin tone look more even and spots look lighter. It is not an exfoliant, so it does not peel the skin and rarely irritates.
Who it suits
Skin with dark spots, sun spots, post-blemish marks or dullness, including sensitive skin that dislikes stronger brighteners.
How to use it
Use TXA pads after cleansing or a TXA serum after toner, morning and evening, then cream. Daily SPF is essential, because sun exposure darkens spots again.

Medicube pairs TXA with niacinamide in a serum and a capsule cream, Celimax uses it in a brightening serum and pads, and SKIN1004 in a niacinamide ampoule. All are original Korean products, delivered within 24 hours in Yerevan.
